PETALING JAYA: The Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry (Kettha) has strongly refuted the Selangor Mentri Besar’s statement that the Federal Government had refused to hand over the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant (LRAL2) to Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
In a response on Sunday (April 1) to Datuk Seri Azmin Ali’s statement, the ministry said that only a partial handover of LRAL2 to Air Selangor is on the cards. And this will be done by Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB), which owns LRAL2, only when the Selangor state government concludes a water supply restructuring scheme in the state.
