PORT DICKSON: Court phobia among its officers and failure to professionally adduce evidence from witnesses have caused the Immigration to lose cases, said its director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali.
He said there should be no excuse when its comes to getting criminals and illegal immigrants punished in court, even though the department has only 60 prosecuting officers nationwide to deal with thousands of court cases every year.
