State debt reduced due to help from Federal Govt, says Penang Gerakan

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Gerakan has reminded the state government that the substantial reduction of state debt came from water assets restructuring agreement with the Federal Government.

Its treasurer Ng Fook On said it was misleading to claim the state debt was the lowest among all states due to DAP’s good financial management.
