IPOH: A tip-off led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of 9.3kg of methamphetamine at a makeshift laboratory near a temple in Silibin here.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Ali Tamby said a 32-year-old labourer and a 50-year-old lorry driver were found processing the drugs in a hut near the temple at about 4.30pm on Sunday.

“The items seized, including the drugs and processing equipment, are worth about RM650,000,” he said at a press conference here yesterday.
