PETALING JAYA: Water supply is being restored to several areas in the Klang Valley, said Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).
It said in a statement Sunday (March 11) that restoration is at 91.7% as of 7am.
It said that every effort has been taken to speed up the recovery process of increasing water pressure and to restore water distribution to areas that are still in the process of recovery.
So far, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Langat’s water supply have been fully restored.
Klang’s supply has been restored to 97.3%, Kuala Lumpur (96.8%), Gombak (91.9%) and Petaling (74.5%).
"Lorry tankers will continue to be mobilised to provide water to areas still facing water disruptions until supply is fully restored,” said Syabas.

Water supply in the Klang Valley had been disrupted since Tuesday (March 6) due to repairs for a burst surge vessel system at the Sungai Selangor Phase Three Water Treatment Plant (SSP3).
