Wan Saiful slams Bung over ‘obesity a sign of economic prosperity’ statement

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Bung Moktar Radin’s statement that the high rate of obesity in the country is a sign of prosperity shows that he is detached from the reality on the ground, says Wan Saiful Wan Jan.

Wan Saiful, who is Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy chairman of strategy and policy, said the Kinabatangan MP’s statement was actually the opposite of what studies in obesity have found.
