PETALING JAYA: Former MP Mohamed Tawfik Ismail has reminded all members of parliament to uphold the rule of law as PAS' Private Member's Bill, or RUU355, is listed in the parliamentary order paper despite a court order prohibiting it from being tabled.
In an open letter to all MPs, Mohamed Tawfik quoted Article 38 of the Federal Constitution, which states that Parliament must obtain the Conference of Rulers' consent before listing any matters of religion in the Order Paper.
