KUALA LUMPUR: The Inspector-General of Police is standing by his top officer over money banked into his Australian account. The account has been frozen by the authorities Down Under.
Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd had considered the legal fees he would have to incur if he were to try to claim back his A$320,000 (RM970,000) before deciding that he would forfeit the money.
