KUCHING: Barisan Nasional must change its approach in managing public perception to avoid a repeat of its calamity in the previous two general elections, which saw the ruling coalition lose its two-thirds majority.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said all Barisan components must play an important role in managing public perception to maintain confidence and trust of voters, especially the Chinese community, to avoid a vote swing towards the opposition.
