Police still questioning fishermen over shooting


KOTA KINABALU: State police are still questioning five Sandakan-based crewmen of a trawler to establish the events that led to a shooting in waters off Kinabatang­an, close to the sea borders of southern Philippines.

Kinabatangan police chief Supt A. Sahak Rahman said they were still recording statements from the skipper and his four crewmen about the Feb 22 incident, in which they were shot at by five gunmen.
