Teacher in Sabah arrested for illegal possession of firearm

Under arrest: Canadian police have arrested two men and are seeking two others for exporting controlled goods and technologies intended for space satellite use to China in violation of export and defense laws.

KOTA BELUD: A secondary school teacher who posted a photo of himself wielding an air rifle through the sunroof of a car on Facebook has been arrested for illegal gun possession.

Kota Belud district police chief Supt. Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said that the 32-year-old teacher was arrested for possession of an air rifle which he had hidden in a banana grove near his house in Kampung Tamalang, Kota Belud on Saturday (Feb 24).
