GEORGE TOWN: Here are the four traffic policemen who have earned public praise when they shovelled tonnes of sand blocking vehicles on the Penang Bridge: Kpl Azidin Ahmad, Kpl Mohd Nazri Zainal Abidin, Kpl Mohd Zain Mohamed Nor and Kpl Noor Ridzwan Mat.

They were in full uniform and seemingly immune to the scorching heat as they laboured away with shovels at the sand that spilled from a crashed lorry on Tuesday.
