Sarawak woman arrested for attempting to bribe Sabah police over drunk driving case

KOTA KINABALU: A 27-year-old woman is in double trouble after she was arrested for allegedly offering RM1,200 to a policeman to close an eye over a drunk driving offence.

The Sarawakian woman, who operates a shop at a mall here, was ordered to be remanded for four days by Magistrate Afiq Agoes after she was brought to court Monday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
