SUNGAI PETANI: Five men who were involved in illegal cock-fighting eventually gambled their lives away when they jumped into a river to escape a police raid in Merbau Pulas, Kuala Ketil.
The five, aged between 40 and 50, drowned after jumping into Sungai Muda on the first day of Chinese New Year on Friday.
