KUALA TERENGGANU: They were mesmerised when they saw their first lion dance performance at age 12 and although it was not part of their culture, they persisted and now perform with the Terengganu Lion Dance Centre.
V. Raj, 27, and fellow troupe member Jaffry Omar, 29, both first saw a lion dance troupe in action when they were 12 and decided that they wanted to be part of it.
