KUANTAN: A housewife suffered losses of RM15,200 after being deceived by her Facebook “friend” allegedly working in Scotland, who promised to send various branded items to her as their friendship gifts.

Pahang Commercial CID chief Supt Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof said the 54-year-old victim, claimed to have been acquainted with the suspect, believed to be a man from Singapore, since last month.
