PETALING JAYA: A mute and deaf man has been reported missing from his home in Puchong Prima since Monday.

Update: Elderly man missing in Puchong Prima found safe

Lee Ker, 89, left his house on his bicycle at around 9.30am on Monday (Feb 12) to go to a clinic.

But Lee never reached the clinic.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue collared shirt at Restaurant Sky Delicious World in Puchong Prima at around 12.30pm on Monday.

"We found his bicycle behind the restaurant," said Lee's grandson TY.

"We think that he might have taken a bus, and he hasn't been taking the bus in a few years. Many things have changed, and we are afraid that he is lost somewhere," said TY.

The family has checked with all the nearby clinics and hospitals, but none have any record of Lee visiting their facility.

"My grandfather has a slight injury on his arm. He is also mute and deaf, but besides that, he is healthy," said TY.

Lee has no handphone on him, but is carrying his identification card.

The family has lodged a missing persons report at Bukit Puchong police station on Tuesday (Feb 13) morning.

If you have any information pertaining to Lee, you can contact the police or TY at 016-2313318 / Chai Peng at 016-6852757 / Jye Yun at 012-6813721.
