Selangor Sultan graces ‘Ola Bola The Musical’ show
KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and his consort Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin took time off to attend Ola Bola The Musical at the Istana Budaya yesterday.
Also present were Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and the play director Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina Eu Effendi.
Ola Bola The Musical, based on the critically acclaimed 2016 movie and box-office hit directed by Chiu Keng Guan, runs at Istana Budaya from Feb 8 to March 11.

35 charged for being suspected members of Gang 360
JOHOR BARU: A total of 35 suspected members of Gang 360 were charged for being part of an organised crime group.
All the accused, aged between 20 and 69, were brought before Sessions Court judge Jailani Rahman amid tight security.No pleas were recorded after the charges were read out in Chinese through an interpreter.
According to the charge, all the accused were said to be part of Gang 360 for the last three years from Jan 1, 2015 to Jan 14 this year in Johor Baru South.
They were charged under Section 130V(1) of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years. — Bernama
Police bust ring, RM300,000 worth of drugs seized
KUALA TERENGGANU: Police have crippled a drug syndicate which saw the seizure of over RM300,000 worth of drugs.
Terengganu police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Aidi Ismail said two men, aged 23 and 26, were arrested with about 17,200 methamphetamine pills and 606.19g of syabu at their rented home in Bukit Payung on Thursday.
Police also seized over RM22,000 in cash, as well as three cars and two motorcycles.
“The suspects: a fishmonger and a labourer, are believed to have been active for about six months,” he said.
