KUALA LUMPUR: Chew Jia Le, the winner of a top award at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College graduation this year, says it was diligence, more than intelligence, that worked for him.

“I am not really a smart student, but I worked hard to achieve the grades I have today,” said the 23-year-old who won the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia award for his outstanding academic performance.
