JOHOR BARU: Pakatan Harapan (Pakatan) has reached consensus for the allocation of the Johor state seats in the coming general election.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Pribumi would get 18 seats while DAP would have 14 and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) and PKR would each have 12 seats.
"Johor Pakatan has decided among themselves which parties have got the 56 state seats," he told reporters in a press conference at Pribumi Johor headquarters in Taman Kempas Utama here on Thursday.
"Each of us will help each other and our election machinery is already in place to face the election," he said.
Muhyiddin said Johor Pakatan had yet to decide on the candidates for the seats adding it would be discussed futher.
He said Johor Pakatan would also come out with a more specific agenda for Johoreans and added that it would be brought up to the Pakatan Presidential Council at the national level.
