Sabah Railway Dept staff arrested by MACC freed on bail

KOTA KINABALU: Two Sabah Railway Department assistant engineers who were held to assist the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) probe into suspected graft involving a state railway project were freed on Sunday (Feb 4).

Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie ordered the suspects, aged 36 and 38, to be released on RM100,000 bail without any deposit with two sureties.
