Malaysia’s jails need more money, says Suhakam

PETALING JAYA: The Government needs to provide the necessary allocation from its national budget for all lockups in the country, said the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam).

In a statement Saturday, Suhakam chairman Tan Sri Razali Ismail said that the Commission revisited the Ayer Molek police lockup in Johor Baru on Jan 11.
