IPOH: Four people were slightly injured after a car crashed into a burger stall near the Azlan Shah Hockey Stadium here on Thursday night (Jan 25).

All of them were given out-patient treatment at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.

Ipoh police chief ACP Mohd Ali Tamby said none of the victims were admitted to the hospital and that only four people were involved, instead of nine as claimed in viral messages on social media.

The investigating officer had met all the victims and so far, two police reports – by the burger seller and a customer – had been lodged over the incident which occurred at about 8.40pm, he said when contacted by Bernama.

He said a three-wheeled burger stall and two motorcycles were damaged in the incident.

ACP Mohd Ali said the driver of the car involved in the mishap had yet to lodge a report. - Bernama
