Wee raises doubt over paid-up capital and ability of SPV

PETALING JAYA: Day two of using video to question the Penang undersea tunnel project, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has raised doubts over the special purpose vehicle’s (SPV) paid-up capital and its ability to see through the project.

In a three-part video posted on his Facebook page, the MCA deputy president questioned the validity of the winning bid in the open tender process – which awarded the project to Consortium Zenith Construc­tion Sdn Bhd – as the original composition of the shareholders in this SPV had since changed.
