LANGKAWI: Two civil servants were arrested by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers for allegedly soliciting two pairs of Harley Davidson t-shirts in exchange for a smooth land application process.

An MACC source said a 31-year-old assistant legal officer and a 30-year-old operations assistant were picked up at a restaurant here at 2.28pm on Wednesday (Jan 24).

“They were believed to have asked two Harley Davidson t-shirts worth RM456.03 from a businessman,” the source said in a statement Thursday (Jan 25).

The duo are being remanded for six days until Jan 30 pending investigations under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009.
