PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has obtained a five-day remand order to investigate the chairman of an engineering consultancy firm over his involvement in the Penang undersea tunnel project.
Magistrate Fatina Amyra Abd Jalil allowed the 62-year-old "Datuk Seri" to be held in custody until Jan 29.
