KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Pakatan Harapan is offering 60% of the state seats to Parti Warisan Sabah in the 14th General Election, said Sabah DAP chairman Stephen Wong.
Wong, however, added that Warisan should allow Pakatan Harapan to contest 60% of the 25 Parliament seats.
"We are ready to hold further discussions with Warisan," said the Sabah Pakatan deputy chairman when speaking to reporters on Wednesday (Jan 24).
His statement comes shortly after Pakatan deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin told reporters that they have asked Sabah Pakatan to settle seat issues by the middle of January.
Muhyiddin said that all political parties in Sabah must be realistic and should work together.
He told reporters Wednesday that Sabah Pakatan will be allowed to hold discussions with any party to work out electoral deals to ensure the opposition ousts Barisan in Sabah and at the national level.
