KUALA LUMPUR: Specially-minted commemorative gold and silver coins bearing the image of Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah were launched here on Monday.
The half ounce and one ounce pure gold and silver coins, bearing the image of Sultan Sharafuddin and his personal royal crest, were unveiled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a ceremony in conjunction with the launch of gold bars refined by Demi Idaman Sdn Bhd.
