JOHOR BARU: The Indian community fared poorly during the tenure of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad when he was Prime Minister, says Tan Sri Kenneth Eswaran.
The Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MAICCI) president said that the Indian community had done well under the leadership of the first three prime ministers but things changed when Dr Mahathir took office in 1981.
