Police tear down Ah Long banner and posters in an operation carried out in Kuantan on Friday.

KUANTAN: Police and Kuantan Municipal Council staff cleared the streets here of about RM3,650 worth of banners and posters put up by Ah Long (illegal moneylenders) in a clean-up operation on Friday.

“We focused our efforts at Indera Mahkota, Bukit Setongkol and Sungai Isap, those areas where these Ah Long syndicates are very active and prey on people,” said Kuantan police chief ACP Mohd
