Johor Sultan: Uphold the principle of judicial independence

MUAR: Johor's Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar (pic) has called on the rakyat to respect and uphold the principle of judicial independence and avoid making baseless allegations against judges or judicial officers.

He said that the judiciary – one of the three major branches of government along the legislative and the executive – had rights and freedoms that needed to be protected to ensure the stability of the country.
