Shock for residents staying near CIQ

Precarious situation: The massive fallen tree along Jalan Quek Keng Kang, Johor Baru.

JOHOR BARU: Residents living near the Johor Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complex were shocked to find a huge tree had fallen and damaged a house and several cars.

The tree fell from Jalan Quek Keng Kang but the “activities” along Jalan Lumba Kuda, Jalan Ah Siang and Jalan Lekas have raised suspicion among the residents, sparked by the presence of machinery and heavy equipment for land clearing in the past one month.
