PETALING JAYA: MCA has questioned the financial capability of the new shareholder of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) that would undertake the construction of the RM6.3bil Penang undersea tunnel project.
MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) also asked about the rationale for awarding the project to fashion company VOIR Holdings, which had recorded losses in each of the past three financial quarters last year.
