KUALA LUMPUR: Indians across the country celebrated the Tamil harvest festival, taking time to boil sweet rice in earthen or brass pots at home and in temples.
The 124-year-old Sri Thandayuthapani Temple in Jalan Ipoh here was abuzz with the young and old coming to celebrate Ponggal, a four-day harvest festival of thanksgiving.
