Man remanded for possessing hand grenade in city

PETALING JAYA: A 40-year-old man who was detained on Saturday (Jan 13) for possessing a hand grenade has been remanded until Thursday (Jan 18), says Comm Datuk Mazlan Lazim.

The Kuala Lumpur police chief said the suspect, who works at a karaoke outlet in Kuchai business park, was detained on Jalan Kuchai Lama here at around 9.30am on Jan 13.
