KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 24 people were arrested following a raid at an entertainment outlet in Bukit Bintang early Sunday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Lazim said a team of police officers raided the outlet and performed checks on 31 patrons and workers.
"Twenty-four of them tested positive for drugs after urine tests were conducted.
"They have been detained under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952" he said when contacted.
He added that those detained tested positive for various drugs including methamphetamine and ketamine.
"We also seized a powdery substance believed to be 12g of ketamine from one of the suspects," he said.
Comm Mazlan said such raids are ongoing to fight the drug menace.
