KUALA LUMPUR: The Sri Subramaniar Temple in Batu Caves will stay open during the lunar eclipse on Jan 31, which coincides with the four-day Thaipusam celebrations.
Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam committee chairman Tan Sri R. Nadarajah said it was impossible to close the temple during the festival that falls on Jan 29 to Feb 1.
