Critically acclaimed play to be restaged as traditional performance

KUALA LUMPUR: Mak Yong Titis Sakti, a retelling of a classic written by one of the greatest English playwrights ever, will be restaged through one of the oldest traditional art forms in the country.

Mak Yong Titis Sakti (loosely translated as Mak Yong’s Magic Drops), inspired by William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, was first staged to critical acclaim in 2009.
