MACC seeks Peter Anthony and lawyer

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is tracking down Parti Warisan Sabah vice-president Datuk Peter Anthony and another man to help with investigations into a RM155mil land deal in Sabah.

In a statement, the commission said it has given Anthony, a key ally of the political party’s president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, and lawyer Michael Persius Ubu, 48 hours from yesterday to present themselves at the Sabah MACC office.
