Groom gets shocking surprise on wedding day
SANDAKAN: It was supposed to be a memorable day for a groom and his family when they turned up to pick up the bride for the wedding at her house in Jalan Cecily in Sandakan on Thursday morning.
But the decision to temporarily park their vehicles on an elevated pavement turned out to have shocking consequences. Four of their cars were damaged after the elevated concrete pavement caved in, toppling four vehicles into a ditch.
However, the wedding went on as scheduled, according to friends of the groom.
