Inquiry to hear objections against redelineation starts today

PETALING JAYA: The first of two local inquiries in Selangor to hear objections against the Election Commission’s (EC) proposal to alter the boundaries of state and parliamentary seats in the state starts today.

The inquiries are the last steps before the redelineation proposal for Peninsular Malaysia can be taken to Parliament for approval, with many expecting this to be carried out before the 14th general election is held.
