COLOMBO: A team of Government and private sector officials will be sent to Jaffna in northern Sri Lanka to decide on the assistance that Malaysia can offer to the formerly war-torn area.
Yesterday, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak met the Chief Minister of Sri Lanka’s Northern Province C.V. Wickneswaran, who briefed him on the situation in Jaffna which is still struggling to recover after the end of civil war in the country.
