NEW DELHI: Indian police thwarted an attempt by a man to smuggle about 50kg of drugs into Malaysia from Chennai when they seized a consignment hidden in a cargo container.
Authorities have also launched a hunt for the fugitive, an official of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), India's top anti-smuggling agency, was quoted as saying by local media on Tuesday (Dec 19).
