KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional is getting ready for the “war” on social media in the coming general election, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Describing cyberspace as a “battleground”, the Deputy Prime Minister said Opposition cybertroopers were getting training in countries like Taiwan to gain traction in spreading negative propaganda against Barisan using blogs, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
