Cops nab two suspected drug pushers in Kepala Batas

KEPALA BATAS: Police nabbed two suspected drug pushers here early Sunday (Dec 17).

North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said that police arrested the first suspect, who is in his 30s, on Jalan Kampung Paya here at 12.45am and seized 352.22g of syabu worth RM28,160.

He said the second suspect was caught with two capsules of heroin weighing 29.2g and 2.27g worth RM1,500 in Jalan Pekan Darat here at 2am.

Both suspects have been remanded for seven days to allow investigations. – Bernama
