KANGAR: A 12-year-old boy drowned during an outing with a group of friends at the Sungai Batu Pahat recreation centre on Sunday (Dec 17).
Syawal Aiman Ismail, from Jawi Permatang in Arau near here, was with the group of young school friends who were swimming in a stream at 3pm.
