PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) unusual rule that requires an accused to submit his defence even before being brought to trial does not impede the right to a fair hearing and is therefore constitutional, the Federal Court has ruled.
Chief Justice Md Raus Sharif said the lawyers could submit more defence documents later.
