Rubber tapper finds name already listed as aid recipient


A RUBBER tapper in Segamat was shocked to find that his name was already listed as a welfare aid recipient when he approached a politician to request aid for his wife’s dialysis, reported Makkal Osai.

Plantation worker S. Souriya, 58, said he first went to the politician in August as he was desperate to get treatment for his wife, hoping to apply for some financial aid but was turned away.
