Johor cop held for alleged RM3,000 corruption

JOHOR BARU: A police corporal has been detained for allegedly requesting and accepting a bribe from a religious teacher.

The 49-year-old suspect, attached to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kulai district police headquarters, was believed to have requested the bribe on Dec 3 and received some RM3,000 on Dec 6.
