IGP: Personal data leak traced to two more countries

KUALA LUMPUR: Efforts by the police to track down the cause of a leak of personal data involving 46.2 million mobile phone subscribers in Malaysia has revealed two more Internet Protocol (IP) addresses in the Netherlands and Hong Kong, says Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun (pic).

This brings the number of IP addresses involved in the case to three, with the first traced to Oman last month.
